What: The Utah Department of Health (UDOH) and the Consulate General of Canada will host a daylong workshop in order to share best practices for addressing the opioid epidemic.
Why: The epidemic of opioid overdose deaths has caused a public health crisis in both Canada and Utah. A daylong workshop will bring together political and policy leaders, public health and medical experts, and others from across Canada and Utah to share their experiences. The aim of the workshop is to share best practices and lessons learned from those on the front lines of the opioid response in both Canada and Utah.
