ORS Scorecard

The Office of Recovery Services contributes to the security (financial) and health of its clients in line with the DHHS mission through two main programs.

Child Support: The Office of Recovery Services/Child Support Services provides child support collection services pursuant to Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. The purpose of the child support program is to ensure that children’s basic financial and healthcare needs are being met by their parents.

Medicaid Recovery: The Office of Recovery Services/Medicaid Recovery provides third-party Medicaid recovery pursuant to Title XIX on behalf of the Medicaid division. The goal of Medicaid Recovery is to ensure that medical bills are paid by legally obligated third parties, in lieu of Medicaid, thus preserving Medicaid funds to serve more people.
