The Department of Health and Human Services provides a continuum of services and programs that impacts the lives of everyone in the State of Utah. DHHS shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, pregnancy, religion, ancestry, or national origin when customers are accessing or receiving services from the department. The Office of Ombuds will provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any violation of the nondiscrimination provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, by department employees or programs.
